A forested area has been preserved to serve as the farm's ecological 'lung,' and the riverbanks are maintained with rich surrounding vegetation. The farm is registered with ICAFE as a coffee producer, miller, and exporter, and it owns the brands "Café don Yoyo" and "Betsú" according to the Brands Registry in Costa Rica.
